Deer hunts, day, lodge or wilderness
There are both mule deer and white tail
deer in the areas we hunt. You can
hunt the white tail with a general deer
tag. For the mule deer you need to
apply for a permit. Areas 270 and 261
are limited and not easy to get, these
should be your first and second choice.
Areas 240 and 250 are unlimited but you
still have to get a permit one of these
need to be your third choice

Deer Archery & Rifle Hunts
Our archery hunts are run early September through mid October
during the elk rutting season. Our rifle hunts are run late October
through the end of November during the deer rutting season
This season allows us to hunt high county early and winter range
the latter part of the season, when game is concentrated at lower
elevations.
Hunting techniques used are spot and stalk, still hunting.
Transportation to hunting area's are 4-wheel drive or horses,but most
of the hunting will be done on foot.
You need to be proficient with your weapon and be in as good
physical condition as possible, as it will improve your chances of
taking your trophy, and making your hunt more enjoyable. Archery
hunts are eight nights and seven full days of hunting.
We offer 1 on 1 hunts (you have your own personal guide)
or 2 on 1 hunts (2 hunters share a guide).
Your guaranteed hunting license
must be obtained through your outfitter by march 15th

most of this unit is on private ground.

Saturday in September through January

available for this unit the non resident
price is $75.00
